College of the Redwoods will be in festive mode for our 25th Anniversary conference. Colorful banners will grace the front door. The main hallway will be festooned with flags printed with literary quotes from our many years of tee-shirts, a gift from textile artist Lolli Jacobson.
Editor Charlotte Robin Cook will host an open table during breakfast and lunch at the conference, where participants discouraged about their writing can receive free “first aid.” Charlotte says: “I care about writers and their work … I’m one too, a writer!”
Space is still available in workshops with Malin Alegria (writing for Young Adult), Elizabeth Rosner (Nonfiction/Memoir) and Charlotte Gullick (Emerging Writers). If you act quickly (email registrar Barbara Lee at firstname.lastname@example.org or call her at 707-485-4031) you might snag the last remaining seats with Scott Hutchins (Novel) and Natalie Serber (Short Fiction). Sharon Doubiago’s poetry workshop is full.
